Systems and automation
I bring order to how your company works inside and automate what is still done by hand.
- Fewer manual tasks and fewer errors
- Processes, inventory and logistics under control
- Your team works in a single place
Software development from Panama
I'm Jorge García: seven years writing code and, before that, ten running real operations. I build systems that bring order to processes, data and logistics -- the software your team uses every day to work better.
About me
Before I built systems for companies, I spent ten years running one.
Today I build software for companies: automations, databases, process control and the apps -- web and mobile -- your team works with. More than seven years developing, from frontend to backend, and since late 2025 I build and run Galipán APP, published on iOS and Android.
Before that I ran operations for ten years: I founded an ecotourism camp, managed an inn and a restaurant, and led business development in international trade. That's why I spot the bottleneck before writing code. And why I stay: I want long projects, where the system grows with the company.
Services
Six areas of work you can hire separately or as a single turnkey package.
I bring order to how your company works inside and automate what is still done by hand.
The app your business needs, web and mobile, built around the way you actually work.
Your numbers in one place: what is happening in your operation today, and at what margin.
How I work
I don't start by writing code. I start by understanding how your company makes money and where its time goes. Everything else follows from that.
I sit down with you to see how your company really runs: what's repeated by hand, what gets lost and what costs money.
I build the system your team works in every day, around your real processes and not around a template.
A system in use keeps changing. I stay to grow it with the company rather than walking away at delivery: my own app has been in the stores since launch and I still maintain it.
Featured project
The El Ávila National Park guide, in the pocket of everyone who visits it.
My own product, from idea to the app stores: I designed it, built it and maintain it. It's on iOS and Android.
Galipán is a village inside El Ávila National Park, in Venezuela. Visitors who make the climb find inns, restaurants and plant nurseries scattered across the mountain, and no clear way to know what's there or where. Galipán APP fixes that: a map, a search and a page for every spot.
I've been building and running it since late 2025. Design, code and content are mine, and it keeps growing: every business that joins the guide shows up in front of people already on their way up the mountain.
See what's around you, filter for what matters and get there without circling the mountain.
Every inn, restaurant and nursery with its photos, hours and contact, right in front of people already heading up.
Foreign visitors read the mountain in their own language, with no translator app to wrestle with halfway up.
Live in both stores and updated by me: new content lands without the user having to do a thing.

Experience
Twelve years across operations management, brand design and software development.
My own travel guide app for iOS and Android: I design it, build it and run it, along with the admin panel the team uses to publish content.
I built custom websites and apps for clients in the United States, Dominican Republic, Colombia and Venezuela, from frontend to production.
I created the visual identity for more than 15 companies in hospitality, health, cosmetics, sport and international trade.
I ran the family guesthouse in Galipán remotely, a business with more than 20 years behind it.
I ran the restaurant's daily operation: purchasing, inventory, payroll, cash handling and front-of-house service.
I collected field data for market research studies and censuses across different regions of the country.
I founded and ran an ecotourism campsite in El Ávila National Park, where nothing like it existed.
I trained and led a team of traders to win international clients through digital channels.
I advised cosmetic surgery patients on how to finance their procedure and what coverage to take out.

I coordinated the logistics of a documentary about Dr. Gottfried Knoche for the news channel Globovisión, keeping the crew running efficiently and contributing exclusive details that rounded out the historical research.
I promoted the legacy of Dr. Gottfried Knoche by sharing his story and managing safe access to the mausoleum, helping drive cultural tourism in the area.
