About me
Who's behind the system
Before I built systems for companies, I spent ten years running one.
Today I build software for companies: automations, databases, process control and the apps -- web and mobile -- your team works with. More than seven years developing, from frontend to backend, and since late 2025 I build and run Galipán APP, published on iOS and Android.
Before that I ran operations for ten years: I founded an ecotourism camp, managed an inn and a restaurant, and led business development in international trade. That's why I spot the bottleneck before writing code. And why I stay: I want long projects, where the system grows with the company.

Galipán APP
The El Ávila National Park guide, in the pocket of everyone who visits it.
My own product, from idea to the app stores: I designed it, built it and maintain it. It's on iOS and Android.
Galipán is a village inside El Ávila National Park, in Venezuela. Visitors who make the climb find inns, restaurants and plant nurseries scattered across the mountain, and no clear way to know what's there or where. Galipán APP fixes that: a map, a search and a page for every spot.
I've been building and running it since late 2025. Design, code and content are mine, and it keeps growing: every business that joins the guide shows up in front of people already on their way up the mountain.
Map and search

Every inn, restaurant and nursery with its photos, hours and contact, right in front of people already heading up.
Guide in several languages
Foreign visitors read the mountain in their own language, with no translator app to wrestle with halfway up.

12/2025 – PresentMy own travel guide app for iOS and Android: I design it, build it and run it, along with the admin panel the team uses to publish content.
- Flutter app with a GPS map, search, offline favorites and content that updates without shipping a new version.
- Custom admin panel: the team creates new categories and content without touching code.
- Translated into ten languages, including Arabic with a right-to-left interface.
Full Stack Web Developer & Digital Consultant
07/2017 – 07/2024I built custom websites and apps for clients in the United States, Dominican Republic, Colombia and Venezuela, from frontend to production.
- Tourism platform for Galipán on iOS, Android and web with React Native, TypeScript, Node.js, maps and push notifications.
- Integrated payment gateways and subscriptions into eCommerce, real estate and import/export projects.
- Delivered every project with client training so they could run the platform without depending on me.
Graphic Designer & Branding Consultant
07/2017 – 07/2024I created the visual identity for more than 15 companies in hospitality, health, cosmetics, sport and international trade.
- Logo, palette, typography and their use across stationery, packaging, web and social, with a brand manual.
- Produced the campaign promo videos, from script to final edit.
- Trained in-house teams to keep the brand consistent without me.
Tourism Property Manager
02/2016 – 07/2024I ran the family guesthouse in Galipán remotely, a business with more than 20 years behind it.
- Led the rebranding and the launch on Airbnb, where we earned Superhost status.
- Coordinated financing, outside services and local partnerships to keep the operation running.
- Applied natural building and sustainable practices when expanding the facilities.
Restaurant Operations Manager
08/2018 – 09/2019I ran the restaurant's daily operation: purchasing, inventory, payroll, cash handling and front-of-house service.
- Managed cash, payroll and inventory, and negotiated daily supply with vendors.
- Reworked opening and closing routines and set kitchen and floor standards with the team.
Market Research and Census Interviewer
06/2018 – 05/2019I collected field data for market research studies and censuses across different regions of the country.
- Interviewed very different samples, from people living on the street to senior executives.
- Tabulated and analyzed the results of each survey with the project coordinators.
Founder & Director
10/2013 – 01/2018I founded and ran an ecotourism campsite in El Ávila National Park, where nothing like it existed.
- Built eco-friendly facilities for 60 people: pool, bathrooms, electricity and a vegetable garden.
- Put together the activity catalog, from horse riding and paragliding to hiking and birdwatching, each with safety protocols.
- Trained local providers in promotion and safety to raise the standard of the area's offering.

02/2013 – 12/2013I trained and led a team of traders to win international clients through digital channels.
- Trained the team in Incoterms and international trade negotiation.
- Organized the pipeline by client type and deal stage, which sped up closing.
